April 15, 2006:      Initial contracts in progress!  Lately, you probably haven't heard much from Accessibility Options unless you are a current client...  In which case you really don't even know you are working with our engineers because most work recently has been sub-contracted through other organizations.   We've been quite busy!

Although we've started reaching out to local agencies like Pennsylvania's BBVS (Bureau of Blind and Visual Services), the US Veteran's Administration, and local employers...  We've actually been tied up with 5 new very intensive access technology projects.  When assisting blind or otherwise visually impaired persons within a community or nationally, the work is sometimes a quick one-shot engagement, and many other times the process of implementing an access solution is a long one.  The time line can be especially complex when considering speech, Braille and OCR solutions in the workplace.  On the other hand, provision of simple access for independent living in the home or community can be as simple as a one-time visit.  So far, all of our engagements have required full-blown access solutions including computer speech, Braille, and integration with proprietary PC applications (which can take a lot of time to implement).

In fact, we haven't even had the time to complete our Website yet.  So please stand by as we ramp up with our on-line and commercial presence.  We should become more available in the coming weeks, and will roll out a renewed campaign to get information to you at that time.
